2013 IBS QUARTER III PRODUCTION GROWTH 4.27 PERCENT OF QUARTER II TH 2013

• Production growth of the Large Medium Manufacturing Industry of South Sumatra in the third quarter of 2013 rose by 4.27 percent (q-to-q) from the second quarter of 2013. Production growth in this quarter was relatively higher compared to the growth in the previous quarter which was only 3.54 percent.
• Growth in production of the Large Medium Manufacturing Industry from year to year III (y-on-y) grew by 9.27 percent.
• The type of IBS that experienced the highest increase in the third quarter of 2013 (q-to-q) was the Food Industry by 5.33 percent. While the types of Rubber Industry, Rubber and Plastic Goods only experienced a growth of 0.12 percent.
• The growth of the National Manufacturing of Large and Medium Manufacturing in the third quarter of 2013 rose by 4.27 percent (q-to-q) from the second quarter of 2013, while the value of growth (y-on-y) was 9.27 percent.

PRODUCTION GROWTH IN 2013 TRW-III IMK UP -5.03 PERCENT FROM TRW-II TH 2013

• South Sumatra's Micro and Small Manufacturing Industry Production Growth in the third quarter of 2013 experienced a slowdown of growth of 5.03 percent (q-to-q) from the second quarter of 2013. The largest growth was supported by the apparel industry, the beverage industry and the rubber industry, goods from Rubber and Plastics.
• The growth of Micro and Small Manufacturing Industry in South Sumatra in the third Quarter of 2013 slowed down by 2.44 percent (y-on-y). The types of industries that experienced the largest growth of 10.00 percent were the Beverage Industry, Rubber Industry, Rubber and Plastic Goods by 6.41 percent and the Textile Industry 3.86 percent.
