GROWTH OF MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION GROWTH AND MEDIUM AND GROWTH OF MICRO INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION AND SMALL QUARTER IV IN 2012 SOUTH SUMATERA

PRODUCTION OF IBS QUARTER IV TH 2012 GROWING 4.61 PERCENT OF QUARTER III TH 2011

• South Sumatra's Large Medium Manufacturing Industry production growth in the fourth quarter of 2012 rose by 4.61 percent (q-to-q) from the third quarter of 2012. Production growth in this quarter was relatively higher compared to growth in the previous quarter which was 4.18 percent .
• Growth in production of the Large Medium Manufacturing Industry from year to year IV (y-on-y) grew by 6.56 percent.
• The type of IBS that experienced the highest increase in the fourth quarter of 2012 (q-to-q) was the Food Industry by 7.75 percent. While the types of Rubber Industry, Rubber and Plastic Goods only experienced an increase of 1.80 percent.
• Production growth of the National Large and Medium Manufacturing Industry in the fourth quarter of 2012 rose by 7.65 percent (q-to-q) from the third quarter of 2012, while the value of growth (y-on-y) was 11.09 percent.

GROWTH OF PRODUCTION OF IMK TRW – IV TH 2012 UP 2.78 PERCENT OF TRW – IV TH 2011

• South Sumatra's Micro and Small Manufacturing Industry Production Growth in the fourth quarter of 2012 fell by 2.50 percent (q-to-q) from the third quarter of 2012. The largest decline was supported by the Food Industry, Metal Goods Industry, Non-Machinery and Equipment and the Clothing Industry So that has decreased above five percent.
• South Sumatra Micro and Small Manufacturing Industry Growth in Quarter IV 2012 increased by 2.78 percent (y-on-y). The types of industries that experienced the largest growth were the Machine and Equipment Industry and the Other Transportation Equipment Industry, namely 35.00 percent and 31.21 percent respectively.
