Abstract

Sumatera Selatan Province’s Gender Inequality Index for 2023 was 0.496, a decrease of 0.021 points from the previous year.
Improvements in all dimensions were the main reasons for the decline in gender inequality.
The significant decline in gender inequality occurred in almost all regencies and cities in Sumatera Selatan Province.
