Abstract

South Sumatra's FTT in August 2024 fell by 0.39 percent compared to last month's FTT, namely from 124.18 to 123.70.
  • The decline in FTT in August 2024 was influenced by the decline in FTT in several subsectors, each of which fell: Plantation 0.83 percent; Livestock 0.40 percent; Fisheries 0.15 percent and Capture Fisheries 0.28 percent. Meanwhile, the FTT that experienced an increase were the subsectors: Food Crops by 1.33 percent; Horticulture was 1.47 percent and Aquaculture was 0.07 percent.
  • In August 2024, the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) for South Sumatra Province decreased by 0.34 percent, namely from 123.71 to 123.30.
  • Agriculture’s Terms of Trade (NTUP) for South Sumatra Province in August 2024 was 125.10 or down 0.87 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
