Abstract
• In July 2021, the number of foreign tourists visiting South Sumatra through the entrance to Palembang's Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport was recorded at 804 visits.
• Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in South Sumatra in July 2021 was recorded at 41.70 percent, or decreased by 11.72 points compared to hotel TPK in June 2021 which was 53.42 percent.
• The highest ROR for star hotels in July 2021 occurred in five-star hotels by 57.38 percent and the lowest in one-star hotels by 17.87 percent.
• The average length of stay of all star hotel guests in July 2021 was recorded at 1.96 days, an increase of 0.54 days compared to June 2021 which was 1.42 days.
• The average length of stay of foreign guests in July 2021 was 4.82 days, an increase of 2.16 days compared to June 2021 which was 2.66 days and the average length of stay of domestic guests in July 2021 was 1.96 days , up 0.54 days compared to June 2021 which was 1.42 days.
