Abstract

• Palembang in October 2019 experienced a DEFLATION of 0.09 percent. Calendar Year Inflation (cumulative to October 2019) is 1.36 percent, and year-on-year inflation (October 2019 to October 2018) is 2.54 percent. Commodities that contributed to the largest deflation in the city of Palembang include: red chillies, chicken eggs, gold jewelery and air transportation.

• The city of Lubuk Linggau in October 2019 experienced INFLATION of 0.03 percent, calendar year inflation (cumulative to October 2019) was 1.81 percent, with annual inflation "year on year" (October 2019 to October 2018) was 2.42 percent. Commodities that contributed the most to inflation in the City of Lubuk Linggau include: chicken, rice, and shallots.

• The South Sumatra Province in October 2019 experienced a DEFLATION of 0.08 percent, Calendar Year Inflation (cumulative to October 2019) of 1.41 percent, and "year on year" annual inflation (October 2019 to October 2018) of 2, 53 percent.
